10.20.07 - MGM A Great Success!
The Michigan Grand Prix Club invited INTENSE to come race at Stanford, MI this weekend for Michigan Grudge Match. We showed up in force bringing our 8 second RWD Firebird, our two 9 second FWD Grand Prix's and our 12 second daily driven Bonneville. The event was incredible and the MIGPC members were first class. Many people had personal bests and while the track wasn't quite good enough for some FWD record breaking times many low 9 second passes were made. INTENSE gave away an INTENSE transaxle which was won by Mike Gavin and a few smaller prizes such as our polyurethane motor mounts and spark plug boot protectors. We want to thank Brent, Babe and the rest of the MIGPC crew for allowing us to sponsor, race, and have a good time with everyone in Michigan.

10.05.07 - New GM 3800 Trap Speed Record = 155 mph! .
Since 2001, INTENSE-powered cars have set the standard for 3800 FWD performance. In 2002, our Bad SSEi (2000 Bonneville) became the first 3800-powered car to ever crack the 110 mph trap speed barrier. Later that year, we were first to hit 115 mph in the same car. In 2003, we introduced our white turbo car, and were first to crack the 120 and 125 mph barriers. In 2004, we were first to crack the 130 mph barrier, followed by 135 mph in 2005. Now in 2007 we’ve continued raising the bar with back to back 155 mph passes in Bob Cook’s blue turbo car.

10.02.07 - INTENSE Drag Day X Cancelled.
Due to the underwhelming response and lack of sign ups we have been forced to cancel INTENSE Drag Day X. After more than six weeks of registrations, we still only have 27 paid racers and 4 paid spectators. This is by far our worst ever turnout, even though we've done everything possible to offer the best possible conditions, and even offered half price to INTENSE customers. At this point, we've only taken in a total of $1,245, which won't even cover the extra track preparation that we pay for - let alone the actual track rental and all the other various items.
INTENSE wanted to do everything possible to provide the best conditions for the time of year when most records and personal bests are set. Unfortunately, it seems as if very few were interested. People may post here and say that if we had lowered the price then more people would have attended. When we first announced the event six weeks ago registration was $30.00 for our customers, a VERY reasonable price in our opinion to attend a track such as Summit MotorSports Park prepped to the hilt and ready for action so we are not sure that argument is valid.
We are very dissapointed in the turnout for this event and we want to apologize to and thank those of you who did signup. We are sorry for any inconvenience cancelling this event has caused you. I will be issuing refunds throughout the day and you should get an email confirmation when yours is processed..

9.07.07 - INTENSE welcomes Nick Robinson as our latest employee!
We would like to welcome Nick Robinson as our latest skilled employee addition. Nick has over 25 years experience as a machinist and machine operator. His skills include CNC machine programming and operation, conventional and machine shop experience, CAD design, and a host of other speciality training. He is a City and Guilds of London certified Master Craftsman (in England) and has shared European techniques with machinists here in the states. For the past five years he has owned and operated his own machinist business, British Engineering, LLC and we are happy to have him as part of the INTENSE team.
We have also added some new machines to the INTENSE garage including a digital readout equipped engine lathe, Bridgeport style knee mill, and bandsaw. This will allow Nick to do a lot of things in house that we were outsourcing.

At this years Pontiac Nationals event, held earlier this month in Norwalk, Ohio there were a few INTENSE Powered customers that had an outstanding weekend. Coilovers are the best way to lower your W-body vehicle while increasing the handling and control. Using KYB struts, our INTENSE coilovers come complete and ready to bolt on. Installation requires ordinary hand tools and can be done by anyone with average skill. Once installed the suspension will be adjustable for ride height and balance.
With ride height adjusters you will be able to lower your W-body vehicle 2+ inches from the factory ride height without a loss of suspension performance. With tire and fender well clearances accounted for additional drop heights are possible. We include a spanner wrench to adjust the heights of the coilovers and the rear coilover set can be agressivly tightened to help negate weight transfer during track runs.

The same company that helped us bring you the outstanding MLS (multi-layer steel) gaskets for the 3800 now has helped us bring you an MLS gasket for your supercharged Cobalt or ION.
Plainly stated, these are the best head gaskets money can buy. Two viton coated outer embossed spring steel layers with one uncoated stainless steel inner layer to provide support to the gasket. These gaskets are manufactured with a bore size of 87mm to accommodate stock bored LSJ motors. Thickness is .027.
This gasket was designed specifically for the 2.0 supercharged LSJ motor. It is not a 2.2 naturally aspirated head gasket as others may sell.

Our Head Stud Kits are manufactured by Automotive Racing Products (a.k.a. ARP). Simply stated, there is not a better stud setup on the market today. 7.18.06 - INTENSEä releases the LSJ Supercharger Spacer Kit.
This spacer plate is CNC waterjet cut for perfect fit and finish and raises your M62 supercharger by 1/2 inch. There are a couple of advantages to installing this spacer kit. The first is that it will allow you to tap a hole in the spacer to install water injection, nitrous nozzles, air temperature sensors, etc... and the second is that it will effectively reduce the belt size by aproximately one inch allowing you to take a lot of slack out of the stock belt.

6.27.06 - Racetronix Fuel Pump Kit is now available!
The Racetronix pump assembly is designed to fit in the factory pump location. The Racetronix pump is equipped with a factory type fuel tube not a rubber hose. This fuel tube is important as when the fuel module is placed back in the tank it must bend sharply which can cause standard rubber hose to kink. This fuel tube is much more resistant to the solvents in today’s gas and it will not crack, split, swell and collapse like a rubber hose. This is why G.M. uses them as OE equipment.
The Racetronix pump assembly is equipped with an outlet which supplies the factory venturi system which is required to keep the factory system functional and allow all of the gas in the tank to be used.
The Racetronix fuel module is equipped with a one-piece soldered wiring harness made from mil spec. Teflon silver-plated wire. This is the same type of wire used at the factory as Teflon is the most resistant to deterioration when exposed to gas. This harness has a Walbro connector at one end and a GM connector at the other which plugs directly inside the factory connector. No crimping, splicing or wiring adapters are required. A truly plug & play wiring solution. Due to the age of some cars much of the in-tank connectors are black / corroded. The Racetronix harness replaces all these questionable components.

These axles are rated at 400hp and include the Driveshaft Shop's torsional center bars, special inner c.v.'s with oversized tripods, a higher durometer boot and their c.v. designed to handle hard launches. If your looking for a set of axles that will handle everyday driving and be able to handle the track when you want, this is it.

We now have Manley steel and Titanium retainers available for immediate shipment. Both the Steel and Titanium versions of these Manley retainers offer more clearance than stock and .045" more than a Comp Cams retainer. They are not milled down but rather produced that way to eliminate any fluctuation in production and to ensure a perfect clearance every time.
