The INTENSE™ Input/Turbine Shaft is manufactured by the same company that makes the 1200HP GM Racing Turbine/Input Shaft and is a custom made unit of 4340 modified vac melt 300M. It has been modified from the original design to make it far stronger than the weak stock input shaft.
The ‘slop’ between the input shaft and the drive gear has been significantly reduced while the two oiling holes on the gear side have been replaced with four smaller oiling holes for better fluid flow. The entire shaft has been thickened significantly making the INTENSE Input/Turbine Shaft the strongest 4T65E-HD input shaft available on the market today for street cars making 400-500 whp.

CNC'd for better accuracy these billet steel timing chain sets come with multiple inductioned hardened keway crank sprockets which are also indexed for easier timing setup. The OEM timing set chain has a breaking load of 16.9kN while the included Rolon chain has a breaking load of 40.4 kN meaning the JP Performance Timing Chain Set is ideal for use with a mild to medium cam and will certainly hold up to the power.
