Oversized Supercharger Tensioner Pulley

APPLICATIONS:

• 2005-2007 Cobalt SS with LSJ (supercharged) engine
• 2004-2007 ION Red Line with LSJ (supercharged) engine

The stock idler pulley on the LSJ motor is 2.5". By replacing it with this oversized 3.0" idler pulley you can take up some of the slack caused by using smaller supercharger pulleys. This is a short term solution until smaller belts are found or for those who don't want to pay the high price smaller twin sided belts are expected to be.

NOTE:
This idler pulley will require that the Tensioner Pulley Bracket be removed and shaved to fit the larger pulley. The bracket is easily removed using a Torx-40 and Torx-45 bit and does not need to be clearenced very much. It is well worth the effort to be able to use a $20.00 part as opposed to purchasing higher priced full tensioners.
